Hormones shape how you feel every day — your energy, your sleep, your weight, your mood, your interest in the things you used to enjoy. Over time, age, stress, illness and the ordinary business of living can pull them out of balance, and the result is often a vague sense of being a lesser version of yourself that is hard to put into words.
Hormone optimization therapy aims to restore what your body has become depleted of. If you are living with persistent fatigue, low libido, poor concentration, disrupted sleep or mood changes that do not have another explanation, it may be worth finding out whether your hormone levels are part of the picture. We treat both men and women.
Hormone therapy is not a cure-all, and results differ from person to person. These are the changes patients most often tell us matter to them.
Sharper focus and clearer thinking through the day.
Steadier energy instead of an afternoon collapse.
Deeper, more restorative rest, night after night.
A calmer, more even baseline day to day.
Renewed interest and a healthier sex drive.
Better strength and lean-muscle maintenance.
Relief from the discomfort of menopausal symptoms.
Support for bone density as you age.
We start with a conversation and a blood panel. There is no way to know whether hormones are behind how you feel without measuring them, and there is no single number that fits everybody — what matters is your levels read alongside your symptoms, your history and your age.
If your results and your symptoms point the same way, we will talk through the options: what form of therapy suits you, how it is given, what it costs, how long before you might notice a change, and what the risks are. Hormone therapy is a prescription treatment and it is not right for everyone. Certain cancers, cardiovascular conditions, clotting disorders and pregnancy can all rule it out or change the approach, which is why the history we take at the start is thorough.
Once you begin, we re-test. Follow-up bloodwork tells us whether the dose is right and lets us adjust it rather than guess. Most patients are reviewed within the first few months and then at regular intervals for as long as they stay on therapy. If it is not working, we will say so.
We stay current with the research and the technology so that every patient is offered care we would want for our own families, with a plan built around your medical history and your goals.
When you become our patient you are treated like family. You are never a number, and you will always be told plainly what a treatment can and cannot do for you.
Modern, evidence-based methods and high-quality products.
We review your full history and build the plan around you.
No. Men experience a gradual decline in testosterone with age, and the symptoms — fatigue, low libido, loss of muscle, low mood, poor concentration — overlap a great deal with what women describe. We assess and treat both.
It varies. Some patients notice a change in energy or sleep within a few weeks; for others it takes longer, and some notice very little. We re-check your levels rather than relying on how you feel alone, and we will tell you honestly if the numbers are not moving.
Yes, always. We will not prescribe hormone therapy without measuring your levels first, and we re-test during treatment to make sure the dose is right for you.
Hormone therapy is a prescription treatment with real risks as well as real benefits, and those depend on your age, your history and which hormones are involved. We go through them with you before you start. It is not suitable for everyone, and we will say so if it is not suitable for you.
Coverage varies by plan and by what is being treated. We will tell you what the treatment costs before you commit to anything, so there are no surprises.
You can stop at any time. Talk to us first so we can plan it with you rather than having you stop abruptly, and so we can talk about what to expect afterwards.
Call the clinic and we will arrange the bloodwork and a conversation about what your results actually mean.
