Peptide Therapy

Our Service

Small molecules with a specific job

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same building blocks that make up the proteins in your body. Your body already makes and uses thousands of them to carry signals between cells: telling tissue to repair, telling the immune system to respond, telling the body when to release a particular hormone.

Peptide therapy uses specific peptides to support those signalling pathways. Depending on which peptide is prescribed, the aim might be to support tissue repair and recovery, to support metabolism, or to support aspects of healthy aging. Every peptide we use is prescribed by a clinician after an assessment, and monitored while you are on it.

What They Are Used For

Common reasons patients ask about peptides

Recovery & Repair

Supporting the body’s own repair processes after injury or hard training.

Metabolism

Supporting metabolic function as part of a wider plan.

Sleep & Recovery

Supporting the rest your body does its repair work during.

Immune Function

Supporting normal immune signalling.

Healthy Aging

Supporting the processes that slow down as we get older.

Inflammation

Supporting the body’s normal inflammatory balance.

Being straight with you about the evidence

This is the part of the conversation that matters most, and it is the part most clinics skip.

Some peptides are FDA-approved medicines with a long record behind them. Many of the peptides discussed online are not. BPC-157, TB-500 and TA-500 are not FDA approved for the uses they are popularly associated with, and the human evidence behind them is limited. That does not automatically make them useless, but it does mean nobody can honestly promise you a specific result, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does.

What we will do is tell you which category the peptide you are asking about falls into, what the evidence actually supports, what it costs, and what we would expect to see if it were working. If we do not think a peptide is likely to help you, we will tell you that too, and we would rather lose the sale than take your money for something we do not believe in.

Why EOWC

Prescribed, not sold over a counter

Peptides are prescription treatments. Every protocol here starts with an assessment by a clinician who takes your history, considers what else you are taking, and decides whether the peptide you are asking about is appropriate for you at all.

You will be shown how to take it, told what side effects to watch for, and reviewed while you are on it. If something is not working or is not agreeing with you, we change the plan.

Assessed before prescribed

A clinician decides, after taking your history.

Monitored while you are on it

We review how you are doing and adjust.

Questions

Peptide therapy questions

No. Peptides are short amino-acid chains that act as signalling molecules. Anabolic steroids are a different class of compound that works in a different way. They are not the same thing and are not used interchangeably.

Some are; many of the ones discussed online are not. BPC-157, TB-500 and TA-500 in particular are not FDA approved for the uses they are popularly associated with. We will tell you exactly where the peptide you are asking about stands before you decide.

Most are given by small subcutaneous injection, and most patients give them to themselves at home after we have shown them how. Some are available in other forms. It depends which peptide is prescribed.

There can be. Injection-site reactions are the most common. Because the evidence base for some peptides is limited, the full side-effect picture is not as well established as it is for long-approved medicines, which is part of what we discuss with you beforehand.

It depends entirely on the peptide and what you are taking it for. We will tell you what timeframe is realistic at the start, and what we would expect to see if it were working.

That is exactly why the assessment matters. Bring a full list of everything you take, including supplements, and we will check it before anything is prescribed.
