Hormone Optimization Therapy for Broken Arrow

Hormone optimization therapy aims to restore what the body has become depleted of. Patients come to us with fatigue that sleep does not fix, low libido, broken sleep, weight that will not move and a mood that has flattened out — symptoms that are easy to attribute to age and easy to leave unexamined. We treat men and women, and we start by measuring rather than assuming.

We have one office, in south Tulsa, and we do not have a clinic in Broken Arrow. What we do have is a steady number of patients who travel from there, and a short, simple drive for them to make.

What To Expect

What patients hope to get back

Hormone therapy is not a cure-all and results differ from person to person. These are the changes patients most often tell us matter.

Energy

Steadier through the day instead of an afternoon collapse.

Sleep

Deeper, less broken rest.

Mood

A calmer, more even baseline.

Libido

Renewed interest and a healthier sex drive.

Strength

Better maintenance of lean muscle.

Hot flashes

Relief from menopausal symptoms.

How the care works

The process is the same wherever you travel from. We take a full history and run a blood panel, because there is no way to know whether hormones are behind how you feel without measuring them. If your levels and your symptoms point the same way, we talk through the options: what form of therapy suits you, how it is given, what it costs, how long before you might notice a difference and what the risks are.

Once you start, we re-test. Follow-up bloodwork tells us whether the dose is right and lets us adjust it rather than guess. Hormone therapy is a prescription treatment, it is not suitable for everybody, and certain cancers, cardiovascular conditions, clotting disorders and pregnancy can rule it out or change the approach. If it is not working for you, we will say so.

The full detail is on our hormone optimization therapy page.

Getting Here

The drive from Broken Arrow

From Broken Arrow, take the Creek Turnpike west and come off at Mingo, then north to 81st Street. It is the same drive most people already make for south Tulsa shopping, and it misses the Highway 51 congestion at either end of the day.

Broken Arrow is the largest community we draw from after Tulsa itself. Patients tell us the Creek Turnpike run is easier than crossing town to a midtown clinic, particularly for an early appointment.

Questions

Broken Arrow patient questions

The Creek Turnpike west to the Mingo exit, then north to 81st Street. It avoids Highway 51 at rush hour.

Yes, always. We will not prescribe hormone therapy without measuring your levels first, and we re-test during treatment to make sure the dose is right.

No. Men experience a gradual decline in testosterone with age, and the symptoms overlap a great deal with what women describe. We assess and treat both.

More often at the start, while we are getting the dose right, then at regular intervals for as long as you stay on therapy.
